What happened

SMS-Activate stopped operating, and its main domain sms-activate.io no longer loads (checked on 4 November 2026). Some sites still carry the name; before you top up anywhere, make sure you know who runs it.

What carries over

  • The same idea: a number reserved for one verification, the SMS shown on screen.
  • Hundreds of apps, from messengers to marketplaces and AI tools, with a page per service.
  • A Russian version of the whole site, next to English, Turkish, German, French, Spanish and Arabic.

What is different

  • Each country shows its success rate over the last hour, so you choose by delivery, not just by price.
  • If no SMS arrives in time, the order closes and the credits return to your balance without a ticket.
  • One number serves one code; repeat codes to the same number are not part of the product.

Can I move my SMS-Activate balance?
No. Balances belonged to SMS-Activate; TempSMSCode starts with its own credit balance.
Is there an API like SMS-Activate had?
TempSMSCode is built for people verifying their own accounts in the browser. There is no public bulk API.
