Why Skrill asks for a phone number

Payment services ask for a number for security and fraud checks. If you plan to use such an account for a long time, switching to your own number after setup is the safer choice.

Good to know

A number is for one verification. If Skrill sends a new code to it later, you will not see it.
If you will use the account for a long time, add your own contact details in the Skrill settings after setup.
Following the Skrill rules is up to you; the number only keeps your own number private.
