Why Wish asks for a phone number

Store apps ask for a number for loyalty programmes and discount texts. Open the account with a one-time number and the marketing stays off your personal line.

Good to know

A number is for one verification. If Wish sends a new code to it later, you will not see it.
If you will use the account for a long time, add your own contact details in the Wish settings after setup.
Following the Wish rules is up to you; the number only keeps your own number private.
